Fortified dessert wine from Champagne
Ratafia de Champagne is a delicacy traditionally produced in Champagne by growers for their consumption.
It is made by blending freshly pressed grape Juice (musts) with Marc de Champagne and/or eaux de vie.
It will feature nicely in a “connoisseur” aperitif and will pair perfectly with a dessert.
During the ageing process, our Ratafia de Champagne acquires its sweet taste and bright amber colour.
Slightly spicy aromas mix with nutty notes on the nose. The palate reveals candied fruit and quince jelly notes.
Complex and elegant the unique taste of this Ratafia will raise the curiosity and interest from Champagne connaisseurs and dessert wine amateurs.
Assemblage / Blending
Grande Selection / Multi Vintage: Solera method since 1998.
Making: Freshly pressed juice fortified with Alcohol.
Blend: 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier.
